My name is Tarnesha, welcome to my page! I have decided to start blogging so that I can connect more with you all. I want to also share some behind the scenes with what goes on at Tarr! I am so excited to share my experience and fashion tips and to also hear from each one of you!
Now a little bit about me. I am twenty-seven years old from Dallas, TX. I am the oldest of five siblings... yes FIVE! My parents separated when I was young, I have three brothers from my mom's side and two sisters from my dad's. From a young age, I've always been interested in some form or creative arts. My mother has always been into fashion and music so growing up around that had definitely rubbed off on me. I got accepted into Booker T. Washington HS for the Performance Arts where I majored in Theater Arts. Booker T is where I discovered my love for fashion, costume design and accessories. I would always put together these different pieces to express my style! I then branched off to college at the University of North Texas where I studied and graduated in fashion and sociology.
Throughout it all, the road wasn't easy. Growing up, I struggled with my weight and was always trying to improve my physical appearance. This also affected my self-esteem and confidence. It wasn't until I was older that I realized I am not the only one who's ever felt this way. Many women go through this exact same thing of not feeling pretty enough or not being happy in their own skin. The images the media portray is no help either!
It is my passion to UPLIFT and MOTIVATE women to be the best they can be. To not waste their entire life trying to alter their body to make it look a certain way but to learn to LOVE your body and love what you have now. Live your life to the fullest!
I want to create a community where we can uplift each other. I want to provide motivational and inspirational posts to help with the journey of accepting and loving yourself more!
I would LOVE to hear your feedback and suggestions, be it about blog postings or any of the jewelry that is on the site.
Until next time!
